Francesco Moser Pursuit Track (again)
do you remember our posting from the 27th of june?! there was this classic moser time trial frame on ebay that came off for 910$. it seems the new owner build it up now. he has done really well and equipped it with adequate parts. great to see such beauties in good hands.

diamant cycles are celebrating their 125th birthday. here´s a tv documentary first shown on mdr (german public television) on 9th of june - so pretty new. i found the whole movie on vimeo. watch it if you are interested in bikes - there is some footage of the track cycling star michael hübner riding an old textima(?) track bike.

it´s getting cheaper and cheaper
as the singlespeed/fixed trend continues there are more and more cheesy bikes coming out. you may have read about the walmart fixed gear bike that came out in the states. i wondered how cheaper it could get and when there will be such offers in germany. it seems it hasnt took to long... today i found this trashy thing on ebay for 199€(!!!) without shipping charges! that has to be a new price record for the german market. the frame shows the name "ks cycling" - never heard of this. straight outta china i think. how crappy has this bike to be for this price!? unbelieveable.

This is an advertising I found in a french magazine called sneakers contributed from a brand by the name of Feiyue
This magazin featureds three individual advertisings in connection with fixed gear but the other ones were to small to take photograph.
I checked out their shoes and yes - nice one, but what do these guys exactly have in common with fixed-gear? mhh...since no one knows, it seems like a fixed-gear bicycle is a nice way to sell your product connected with an image - which image this is, seems to be the silent part intended by the brand/ or other brands.
So the trend is there, I found more links on that, we´ll keep you posted!

so ok we are totally messing up this section as we are too busy getting our asses in the library or to the lake at these temperatures. im sure our outcome of postings will increase as we finished our exams. so here is my current recommendation to listen to:

They got numerous splits, seven-inches and two previous full-lengths but this third long-player is my personal favour of their work. The band often was compared to old bands like Embrace and there are still many references to them audible but End Of A Year are really getting into an own style. My summer-album!

The Bianchi Super Pista, that replaced the Pista Concept, is now available in Celeste. In my eyes it looks much better this way than in black. It´s supposed to cost 750$ - I wish i would have one of these...

Volume Creedence
today i finally made some photos of matthias´ volume creedence. most of the parts are still stock (except bar, stem and seatpost?). i tried it and it rides like a dream. i really dig the frame geo that is a bit but not too pursuit. one of the nicest fixed-gears in leipzig for my taste.
