Drop bars? Can´t decide...

As you may know I build up my new bike with Nitto Risers. I recently swapped them for a Nitto Drop Bar. Better? In terms of credibility for sure haha - I can´t decide...

Farewell sweet Visp

I´ve sold my Visp yesterday. I´m sure I´ll miss it but it´s in the good hands of a friend and I hope he enjoys riding it as much as I did. There´s just not enough space in my flat for a fifth bike so it had to go. I´ve ridden this frame in quite a few configurations as you can see and the amount of sticker increased on a daily basis :D

New Project - Goldsprint 13 Classic

Yes he´s got a new frame... again :D Last year in January i replaced my Charge Plug for a Cinelli Gazzetta and this time my cheap Visp Fixie is going to be replaced. It wasn´t really planned though, I just stumbled accross the Goldsprint 13 Classic frame about 3 weeks ago and instantly fell in love with it. And as I always wanted a Cannondale Track this frameset is really close to the original - 6061 aluminium track frame hand made by Colossi (the whole frame is basically the Colossi model "Al Colossione") and a 1" steel fork. The price of 399€ is quite a stunner in my eyes. It arrived today from Berlin and it´s amazing. I am planning to build it up with classic parts from Campagnolo and Nitto. More soon...

Black Gazzetta

Awesome build! Love the Paul crankset and Miche Supertype wheelset <3

The Premium Rush Movie Bike Parts Breakdown

It´s kind late for this post but I´ve only just found this video. I don´t know if you have seen the movie. I did and have to say that it´s actually way better than i thought. There is some decent riding in there and even if the story isn´t that innovative it´s good entertainment for bikenerds and fans of JGL. So in this video the owner and founder of Affinity Cycles explains what parts were used and what might be more interesting, how Hollywood prepared the beat up look of Joseph Gordon-Levitts bike. Look for yourself...

Opel Adam Fix

another example for the use of fixed-gear bikes as a accessory in advertising and marketing. we had posted about the h&m bike apparel line before as well as the ad from honda and others. although it seems like the "adam fix" bike looks pretty decent for a complete bike i wonder how the average car buyer shall ride a brakeless (and therefore the highway code violating) fixed-gear...? hm but i have to admit the car integrated bicycle stand is really the shit! hm decide for yourself on the topics of advertising with fixed-gears.

The kids have their say!

Every day I pass a school and some kids just come by bike every which is kind of cool and kind of newschool as well: Interesting way of locking your bike:
here is the conversion mayhem (which I totaly understand - as a pupil you have no money)
but whats wrong with putting you grips in the right position or just adding some bar ends ...?
last one...
