Random street shizzle 2
again most of the pictures are from south of Bremen... aka the city where literaly no nice builds come across..
The kids have their say!
Every day I pass a school and some kids just come by bike every which is kind of cool and kind of newschool as well:
Interesting way of locking your bike:
here is the conversion mayhem (which I totaly understand - as a pupil you have no money)
but whats wrong with putting you grips in the right position or just adding some bar ends ...?
last one...
The use of space
i don´t really want to complain about the current weather as we could have lots of snow at this time of the year but it´s been raining for three days now:/ i just stumbled over this sunshine video from portugal. i really wish to ride my new whip there now... though the bike in the clip isn´t really a beauty it still transports the fun with fixed gear on a perfect weather day.
may the spring come soon and bring us back t-shirts on bike rides.

safety first
seen today in leipzig/gohlis. back in better days this used to be a peugeot road bike. although i am not a great fan of peugeot frames this one had a really bad fate i feel sorry for. it´s covered with checker foil and has load of other reflective gimmicks on it - even cat eyes in the frontwheel! ah and check out the superclean bike lock case at the downtube! man... poor bikey

gurken über gurken
in building up bikes there´s a fine line between style and stupidity. as we mentioned before we are not fans of converted fixed gears. there might be some really nice builds out there but in the most cases they ruin road bike classics. saving a little more money for a proper trackframe would have been the right way for many people out there wanting to ride fixed. a lot of conversions arent even having a road bike frame as a base. you can even find old mountain and sport bikes with a fixed wheel. the results are often funny but i would rather walk than ride one of these bikes. here is a selection of fixed gears i found on facebook in several fixed gear groups. have fun looking at:
