shizzle from da street

aye,

freewhelin´, no front brake, tightening the chain would be a hit, get some grips and barends...

all city big block frame set is a nice affordable frameset to me, but this guys really doesnt get it,
spotted in the center of Bremen...

endless pain of true spirit

captured near main station of Bremen.

so this is again a conversion, its fixed - I checked it.
What is doing a rear brake there? ...get a front brake!

and look at the second picture at the bottom, there we have some serious spoke issues within the front wheel.

the bar/stem combination I just ignore!

some more true spirit

get some bar tape or grips at least and what happened to the seat???

spotted in the hipster quarter of Bremen.

true spirit saga continious

spotted in front of IKEA Berlin-Tempelhof.

things are getting better!

I like the bartape colour but thats all. haha

more true street spirit aka streetcredits aye

spotted in Friedrichshain (hipster part of Berlin).

pasculli bike manufactor shop

spotted in South-West Berlin: a shop by the brand name of Pasculli. They have some nice stuff there, nice guys and I never have been to a bike company showroom - I dig that. They only have one track frame which is stated as classic but runs on their website as urban? for 1100 Euro you can get the frameset (alu), shoes for 400€ (this is actually the rent of a flat for a family in some parts of Berlin). The track frame is going to have some complete bike option for 1500€ called then Bellini with break mounts and all that urban stuff you need - f not they have the pista for a cleaner look, indeed a bit pricey but Italian hand made...mhhh we like that!

Nice is, the track frame is also available as pursuit frame.

clean pista frame

true street spirit

If you look around you rarely see nice track bike builds. What you see on the streets where I live (aye STREETCREDITS!!!) you see cheap, ugly conversions, single speed bikes, shit bikes, rusty bikes, destroyed bikes, crazy people freewheeling with just a rear brake for the "fixie"-look, bikes you ask yourself - man this thing drives but it definitely releases the laws of physics?

used to be a nice bianchi, now its a converted to a single speed with a rusty chain and a ugly lock holder for a frame - show some love, at least to your bartape!

spotted in the hipster quarter of Bremen.

some hot "pista" shit

rattan bike

so how ugly is that!? as fuck!

city waste...

some guys from the municipal authority come around and pay attention to old unused bike ruins like this one, pretty much found everywhere if you take a look left or right from time to time. they will delete it if the owner don´t remove it from the street.

how can you just forget a locked bike?

handmade bags/stuff berlin

spotted in Berlin from a brand called Fahrer

marc´o polo is into fixed gear

spotted in Berlin
ohhh marco´o polo is into fixed gear, no further comments!!!

bamboo bike

this is a bike build out of bamboo - hell yes what a funny idea, there are different build - yes its quit ugly, no nice steel lugs or chrome parts, each bamboo bike is custom and was part of a promotion within a drug store chain in Berlin for regrowing resources

leafcycles gipsy

i didnt took notice of the leafcycles gipsy frame until today. i thought it was just another bmx brand jumping on the fixed gear trend. and maybe i am right but i have to admit - i really like the look of the bikes in that video. so check it and form your own opinion.

bicycle lightning in germany

for those of you who doesnt already know, germany has certainly one of the most stupid regulations for the use of lights on bicycles. all bikes have to use a bicycle dynamo instead of "road bikes" under a weight of 11 kilograms - they are allowed to use batterie powered lights. a "road bike" is defined by its dropbar and it´s weight. all other bikes, even if they are also under 11kg, have to use a dynamo. so how dumb is that?! this satirical video from the tv programme extra 3 discusses this problem.

Copenhagen Parts Bike Porter

ever thought of a basket on your fixed gear? i did :) so here´s a quite cool solution for people thinking about that. copenhagen parts made a riser bar with an integrated basket called "bike porter" - awesomeness!

it spreads and spreads...

even ALDI advertises its crap with the singlespeed/fxd/track trend.

Cinelli Laser overview

...old news is that Cinelli is going to reissue the Cinelli Laser in a limited quantity.
When???
How many???
How much is the price???
What sizes???
What material???
What fork???

I dont know - if anyone does: hook me up with that infos!

...but there is nothing like THE Cinelli Laser. There are many different designs of THE Laser - so the question might be which one are they going to rerelease??? In addition to that Cinelli uses different forks on the laser models!

Here is the geo of the supposed 2011 or 2012 reissue?

...this is what I found via searchengine including the 2011 edition this makes 16 different Cinelli Laser constructions!
