mass marked bikes trying to improve their image with hip videos... state bicycles and create are just examples of these scenester marketing efforts that come along with the fixed gear trend. in leipzig are quiet much people riding these bikes and every time i take a closer look to these i am wondering why they arent just break into pieces - ultra heavy steel frames and ultra low level parts...

don´t get mislead by these videos.

DAAAAAAAAAAAMN SOAP OPERA ATTACK

hahaha this is for the funny moments in fixed gear:

we all know soap operas! it depends on you if you hate or not:

to speak for us, the guys who make this blog, I wish to make clear that we HATE soap operas even more than the 5.000.000 lame and boring video in FGFS - uhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
Especially we hate German television soap opera, they are cheap in production and pretty bad in acting as well, and the drama is just bad ass nonsense - and now the tip of the iceberg:

one of the longest running soap opera called GZSZ (Gute Zeiten - Schlechte Zeiten (translated: good times - bad times)) included a scene where the character "AYLA" tries out riding a fixed gear bike - so how far have we come that this is a trendy hip aspect in life???
like the new lady gaga song also the daily news are worked into the drama story line...and now "FIXIES" - anyway check out the video!!!!

seen today in leipzig/gohlis. back in better days this used to be a peugeot road bike. although i am not a great fan of peugeot frames this one had a really bad fate i feel sorry for. it´s covered with checker foil and has load of other reflective gimmicks on it - even cat eyes in the frontwheel! ah and check out the superclean bike lock case at the downtube! man... poor bikey
